Gavin is a chartered surveyor and joined Aberlour’s Board of Directors in 2020.
Since 2018 he has worked for Forestry and Land Scotland, the successor to the Forestry Commission in Scotland. Here he represents the agency in the negotiation and delivery of large-scale renewable energy developments on the publicly-owned forest estate. Prior to this, Gavin led a team of surveyors at Dundee City Council in the estates management of the authority’s diverse property portfolio. He also has a keen personal interest in the property profession, regularly chairing final assessment panels for candidates electing to become chartered surveyors, as well as sitting on the professional group board.
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his young family, as well as hill walking, swimming, and playing badminton.
