Robert Lindsay

Robert is a Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry who has been providing some services to Aberlour Child Care Trust since his retiral from the National Health Service in 2008.

A former Clinical Director of the Department of Child and Family Psychiatry at Yorkhill Hospital, he is now working independently but retains a long standing interest in the provision of effective children’s mental health services.

In 2007, Robert was awarded a Travelling Fellowship by the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust to study services for children affected by parental substance misuse. Robert also has a major interest in Family Therapy and is a former Family Fellow at Brown University.

Robert sits on the Improvement Audit Committee.  He is also a former Chair of the Association of Child and Adolescent Mental Health in Scotland.
